Family Preparedness
In addition to a disaster plan, we recommend your family also prepare an emergency kit or GO-BAG.
A GO-BAG is something you pack today in hopes that you never have to use. Having certain items in a single place will help you to mobilize in case you must evacuate quickly. While this list is a good start, it may not be all-inclusive.
You may also wish to keep some items in your vehicle. You should prepare one bag for each person in your family.
